Educators 1-Day Drum Intensive

This is offered every few years to educators from around the region.  

Join WMU Jazz Professor Keith Hall for a full day of drum set fun with your educator friends while you earn 6 State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECHs)!  Learn valuable skills that you can pass on to your students!

Subjects to be covered:

  • Basic coordination

  • Jazz and other styles

  • Chart reading

  • Set up

  • Tuning

  • Head selection

  • Playing with the band
